The Gap Betewen Academia & Lay People, Sheb & Sam Varghese

Lay person here. I enjoyed listening to this podcast today and I have to say you were spot on. Your last podcast really ruffled my feathers, but after listening to this one it helped me see things from your perspective. So thanks for taking the time to bridge the gap. I really liked what you said when comparing different levels of literature and philosophy to baby food. And I appreciate how you have included a lot of sources here for others to chew on. I’m going to have to sample some of these.

I’m wondering if you can do a podcast on your experiences with science in the middle grades as a classical student. What advice do you have for someone like me who is homeschooling and is about to teach Astronomy/Earth and space in the fall? What were your positive experiences with science in your middle school years?
